The Minister of Health announces a new fine … and “the country will not be closed”

The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hassan affirmed after the meeting of the Disaster Management Committee that “there will be no closure to date, neither at the airport nor in any other facility, and life will continue.”

Hassan stressed the need to impose fines on those who violate the quarantine and cause the spread of the epidemic and to avoid mixing as much as possible, stressing that “the tax on the face mask is still 50 thousand Lebanese Lira (50,000L.L.) and there are legal penalties for every person with a non-quarrying who does not adhere to the quarantine and the fine from 600 thousand to 5 million Lebanese pounds.”

Hassan wished the owners of establishments and restaurants to ensure the continuity of their work and the safety of their pioneers, to help the specialists to reduce the spread.
