The Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement the results of the tests that were conducted on flights that arrived in the context of the third stage of returning the expatriates, as follows:
- 10 COVID-19 infections were recorded among the 170 passengers on board the flight that arrived from Lagos.
- A positive case of COVID-19 was recorded among the 83 passengers on board the flight that arrived from Paris.
- A total of 0 infections out of 112 passengers on board the flight that arrived from Pointe Noire Congo.
Accordingly, the infected cases will be transferred to the hospital with an emphasis on the application of strict domestic quarantine for negative cases, knowing that they will be followed up daily by the ministry and whoever shows any symptoms will be referred to the hospital for a laboratory review.
As for the flight that arrived from Luanda, there were no infections recorded among the 100 passengers on board, and the results of all passenger checks were negative, as well as for the special flight that arrived from Bangui.
