Rafik Hariri University Hospital, in its daily report on the latest developments about the Coronavirus, stated that the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases of the virus currently present in the hospital’s health isolation area reached 28 cases, and that it had received 22 suspected cases that were transferred from other hospitals.
3 cases fully recovered after the result of the PCR examinations were negative both times. Increasing the total number of recovered cases to 80.
The hospital added: “According to the directions of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Public Health, two cases infected with Coronavirus were taken from the hospital to the home quarantine, after the attending physician confirmed the patients’ clinical recovery, and informed them of all measures and instructions related to the home quarantine in terms of dealing with others, personal hygiene, how to eat, and how to deal with garbage disposal and daily temperature monitoring. “
The hospital also announced “the improvement of the situation of one of the critical cases, and it had been transferred from the intensive care to the isolation unit,” stressing that all those infected with the virus “receive the necessary care in the isolation unit, and their condition is stable except for 3 cases of critical condition.”
