Rafic Hariri University Hospital announced, in its daily report on the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus which states that “The hospital had conducted 293 laboratory tests, and that these tests revealed “one positive result from one of the Lebanese coming from abroad. The other results, including medical, nursing and technical staff in The hospital and patients who were in contact with the trained doctor, who was found to be infected with the Coronavirus yesterday, are negative. “
The hospital also stated that the total of laboratory-confirmed cases of infection with the virus currently present in the hospital’s isolation area reached 29 cases, and that 12 suspected cases were received from other hospitals.
The hospital also announced the recovery of 8 cases after the results of the PCR examinations were negative both times, Raising the total number of recovered cases from the beginning to 94. In addition, a patient’s condition which was critical, improved, and he was transferred from intensive care to the isolation unit.”
